Raised in an environment that emphasized education and personal growth, Otilia has always been fascinated by the dynamics of financial markets and the impact that market research and feasibility studies can have on investment decisions. Over the years, she has gained significant experience in market analysis, opportunity identification, and risk evaluation – all critical components in today’s globalized business landscape.
HarborStone Investments was founded out of Otilia’s desire to help clients navigate the complexity of the financial world and to provide them with the tools needed to make strategic, well-informed decisions. I’ve always believed that the key to success lies in a combination of curiosity, hard work, and the willingness to take risks. Growing up, I was surrounded by people who valued education and personal growth, which sparked my curiosity about the world of finance and business. I always found myself drawn to how markets work and how smart decisions can make a real difference in the way businesses grow.
After studying and gaining experience in market research and feasibility studies, I found myself at a crossroads. I realized that there was a real need for reliable, insightful guidance for businesses and individuals navigating investment opportunities. That realization led me to take a leap of faith—one of the most significant moments in my life—when I decided to create HarborStone Investments.
HarborStone is more than just a company to me; it’s a reflection of my values. I wanted to build something based on transparency, trust, and the unwavering commitment to excellence. These principles are the core of everything we do at HarborStone, and I carry them with me in every decision we make, whether it’s working with a client or developing a new strategy.
Starting a business was never easy, but every challenge has shaped me into the person I am today. From the moment we opened the doors in Mauritius, to our expansion in Dubai, I’ve watched HarborStone grow into something that brings real value to people’s lives. Outside of work, I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures—all of which inspire my work and shape how I view the world.
